I have a confession to make. Recently I am crazy about WCCF. Maybe possessed. So if I never pick up your call or reply to your messages, please forgive me.

So, what is it about WCCF that drives me crazy?
WCCF is an arcade game and trading card game all in one! Featuring Teams and Players from 4 major European Leagues. Introduced to me by my lover.

It is a very interactive game and once you start you cann't stop. :o) And it's fulfilling to see the team you create and manage grow in strength and win matches. You will also get a surge of happiness when you manage to get a star player that you dream day and night. If you like soccer, this is the game!

Opps, did i say if you like soccer, this is the game? Well, I am a girl and usually girls do not like soccer. I'm not a die hard fan, but sometimes it is quite interesting to see 11 men going after the ball. LOL. Let alone if you make them run after the ball and then a GOAL!

Of course, I have attracted unnecessary attention because I am a girl. They wil speculate about my skills and maybe even laugh behind my back (I'm just a beginner!) And when my lover is not around by my side, some will try to help by giving me confusing advice and some even help you to decide how you should play.

Certainly, I hope to improve considerably and outshine a couple of men with my own capability. So Girls, Stand by me.

Thoughts after " Call me Elizabeth"

Just read a book. "CALL ME ELIZABETH"

Saw the abstract from a female magazine. My six sense tells me it'll be an interesting book. The irony is I dun really like reading books. Dun wish to waste time & effort on books that may bring me to my dreamland. So i usually only read books that are recommended by friends or books by authors who I know are good.

Anyway, I wanted to read this book. But, I could not find this book in any of the national libraries. Well, as time goes by, I forgot that I wanted this book.

One day,Fairy Fate decides to give me a helping hand. I managed to find it in Kinnokuniya.It was a good book that made me realise the extreme a mother can do for their children.Even it means selling your body and soul to give them food on the table, clothes on their back and education for their future.

Never regret the decision to buy it at all.

I was talking to my forgotten lover, i.e. EX

No bad feelings. No hurt.
I dun even remember the many things we have done together.I couldn't even remember one of the restaurants (used to be my fav) that we had frequented.

I hope my lover will not mind me blogging this.

I hope so. LOL.

I am sure my lover, smart as he is, knows.

MARRIAGE

Marriage is another step to one's life.

It is the summation of the duo's love, happiness,

troubles, expenses and of course the family members.

Two of my friends are making this big step in their life this year.

In search of their love nest, building their future with their knights.

It certainly takes a lot of courage to take this step.

At the moment, I do not think I have that.

Even though the idea of marriage does cross my mind occasionally.

My cooking isn't really fantastic.

Dun really do household chores.

Not capable enough to take care of another man

and the little ones that will come along the way.

Not certain I will be a good wife and mother

who will rise to the occasion to the overwhelming demands.

I am amazed how these men cook. They all have the invisible white chef hat on their head.

Serious and meticulous. Even the table setting is perfect.

I like having meals in France because there is always good wine to bring up the warm atmosphere at the dining table. Hope I will have the chance to taste the cooking of these 2 chefs.

Ans: In the above picture, there is an architecture that looks like Les Arenes behind me as I stroll down the streets, with my cappuccino in hand. Maybe it is time for me to learn some French or Italy.

10 days in France < Part 1 >

France, a country, that many girls will WOW when they hear them.

First comment is "So romantic."
Next question is "Did you went to Paris?"

When I answer NO, their face showed some signs of disappointment.

"You did shopping right?"

When I answer NO again, this time their face showed more signs of disappointment and some ??? ... Are you a girl? Are you crazy?

SIGH... ... I am quite disappointed too. Because my 10 days trip to France, the romantic country, is FOR WORK!!!

Yes, I did tour around and look at some places of interest. Indeed, they are beautiful, and so different from the typical landscape of Singapore. You judge for yourself.

Chateau de Baux (Le Grand de la provence)

After dunno how many hours of flight (>12), I finally reach the Marsielle Airport. Lucky, our counterpart was there to receive me and my colleague, Joanne, in this foreign country far far away from Singapore.

It was surprising that he actually brought us around just after we got down the plane. Maybe we have been exclaiming in the car about how nice how nice the scenery.

Do we look like we remember our long long flight just an hour ago?

Even though we never stay long to explore this place, it was already a bonus to me.

I thought I may not even have any chance to tour around France because it is WORK!

Pont Du Gard

But i must admit that I did some research on some of the places I should visit before I went to France.
(And i was lucky to visit some :P)

This place was rather highly recommended. It is used to channel water from one city to another some centuries ago. Till now, the architecture is a puzzle to me.
Pont Du Gard, you took my breath away...........

Les Arenes

The top on the list of my research is Les Arenes. Anyone who watches the movie " The Gladiator" before, you will find it familiar. This used to be the place when the warriors fight for their glory, slaves fight to survive, man fight with bulls etc.

Now, people hold concerts in here. Beware... it is really windy out there.

Q:Why is the fighting ground sand?
A: It is for a brutal reason: You use sand to hide the bloodshed.

Though I never witness any bull-fighting (it is seasonal), I was pretty glad that I din have a chance to see it. Maybe it will be quite an experience but i dunno. :-

Once again, the architecture and the history behind it is amazing.

But, the feeling is kinda of weird when it is a work trip. You feel like relaxing and enjoying every moment of France, but at the back of your mind is the piles of worries and anxiety about your work in this new environment. I am sure the smart ones out there will understand. Do you? :P
