Karma

I read something on Karma on the website. Forgot the link, but briefly remember the content to be as follow....

In this world nothing happens to a person that he does not for some reason or other deserve. Usually, men of ordinary intellect cannot comprehend the actual reason or reasons. The definite invisible cause or causes of the visible effect is not necessarily confined to the present life, they may be traced to a proximate or remote past birth.

According to Buddhism, this inequality is due not only to heredity, environment, "nature and nurture", but also to Karma. In other words, it is the result of our own past actions and our own present doings. We ourselves are responsible for our own happiness and misery. We create our own Heaven. We create our own Hell. We are the architects of our own fate.

Sadly, my long battle persists. I thought I will be out of it soon. Why will I meet such a person in this world? Not only denying my reward for my effort. He is trying to gain something out of my already pitiful plight. Maybe I did not do enough good deeds in the past. So according to karma theory, this is the consequence. But well, my karma isn't really bad after all. I have good friends, nice family and understanding lover supporting me through the hard times. As for this irritating person, I wish him luck. May he not suffer from his karma soon, since he has accumulated so many bad kharma.

Hmmm.. why am I talking about karma here? As a libra, I need equality. Those irritating incidents has really taken a great impact on me. Karma theory will put me to ease temporarily.

Here are the photos as promised.
And if you are a real reader and not a "scanner" , you will notice the word "SAMPLE" stamped over me and Mr Lover. =p
Reason: They are proof copies** from the photo studio.

** You can only choose one out of the lot (unless you are willing to pay more for another glamour shot)...so with this in mind, I suppose you will not mind keeping the photos with your body stamped "SAMPLE". ;0)

The Moment of Glory Part II

Congratulations, Mr Lover. :)

He has officially graduated from the 4th university of Singapore, UniSIM.
I hoped he has enjoyed his moment of glory up on the stage. For most graduates, they will choose to freeze this moment of glory, i.e. pay the professional to snap that second when you receive the empty "folder". But usually, it will not turn out as well as expected.

Well ... Do not fear. There is always other chances to freeze that moment of your glory. Pay the professional at any photo studio again to take a victorious picture of yourself; together with your family members or friends, in that heavy and difficult to wear and breathe gown. I did so. Mr Lover did so too. :P seems like it is quite an expense to graduate too. Ha ha.

Hmmm ...I am not someone who likes to take pictures. So, it is certainly a challenge to strike the pose as instructed by the photographer and not forgetting to smile as if you are going to take part in a smiling contest too. I still recalled the photographer came with two slabs for me to stand. Reason = Mr Lover is too tall.

How will the pictures turn out? I believe it will turn out better than the one on the stage. =p At least there are a few more shots than just 1 try.

Stay tuned for the pictures.
