WCCF

WCCF logo
World Club Champion Footbal.

Those who are regulars of my blog will know that I am recently crazy about WCCF.
Recap: WCCF is an arcade game and trading card game all in one!

So in my previous post about WCCF being introduced to me, I mentioned that I hope to improve considerably and outshine a couple of men with my own capability. So what if i am a girl.

Guess what, I have won a cup (King's Cup) by myself. With my lover sitting beside me, giving me all the support I needed. Maybe it was luck. Maybe I did have some material. Ha Ha. :P Well, I choose to believe the latter. Because I was actually feeling tired, as if I am really in the field.

But I know Lady luck was kind towards me too. And I have lots more to learn... Constructive advice are welcome. :) In all, More practise. More confidence. Less anxiety.

May the day I can win a league or a cup on my own without having to consider the factor of luck be soon.

The importance of mutual friend with your lover

18th of May

My computer in my office decides to rebel. There is only one line on the monitor "No Video Signal". So with my basic computer knowledge, I opened the computer casing and check the possible reasons.

Time has passed, and not long after it is lunch time but I have not managed to get my computer going. Well, I feel really disconnected to the world and rather grumpy. So i decide to go for lunch and start afresh. Hopefully with better luck.

But I wasn't really lucky even after the ego boost from lunch. So i decided to ask for help. Looking through my phonebook, I called a friend who has better computer knowledge than me. And he was helpful to give me some telephone assistance. Maybe it was sheer bad luck. Or maybe I am not a audio person. My computer was still on the winning streak.

So, I made a big move. I moved on to seek assistance from mutual friends of my lover that I know are rather good in this area. The first that I approached gave me telephone assistance too. (after some effort in refreshing him my identity). However, my computer still refuse to boot up.

Was it really such a tough problem? Hmm....in my opinion, some things are better explained face to face. This is because the second mutual friend that I approached was kind enough to offer assistance in the real mode. It was within minutes that I see life in my computer again.

So, to this mutual friend and all who have helped,

Thank you

Young Lady or Old Lady?

I suppose most ladies out there have experienced dress clashing somehow in their life before. It can certainly be embarrasing and dreadful.

Today, I was back at a shop to try a dress that took my heart away right from the minute i saw it among the racks. The shop did not have my size on Saturday, but the friendly sales personnel promised that there will be ONE, ONLY ONE on Monday and will gladly reseved it for me.

So, you can imagine the state of thrill I was in. Just as I was trying this dress and other pieces that the sales personnel recommended, 2 cute and young girls walked into the shop. They too fell in love with the dress. But once they saw me trying it on, they hesitated.

Nevertheless, the power of the dress is too great. And so not long after, all of us were trying out the same dress in different fitting rooms. I must admit I was feeling a bit irritated and embarrassed and did not carry the dress as well as I should. Especially after hearing them made "soft comments" about me across the curtain that stand between us. I wasn't really deaf ... :P

Indeed, I do not have a better figure as you two. Maybe time has left heartless marks on my face and body. But one day, you will be like me. I strongly believe two people wearing the same dress will carry it differently. Everyone is entitled to their share in today's fashion. So, leave your stupid comments to yourselves, at least not in front of me.

Young lady or Old Lady?
A young lady or an old lady? It could be both. :)

But what did you see first?
I saw the young lady first.
It took me a while before I notice the old lady.
I suppose I still have a young mind then. HA HA.

D Drama Day

Friends have always say that I have great imagination and will be a great scriptwriter. So let's test it. If you think i can be one, leave a comment.

Imagine this.

One drizzling day, a pretty lady stood at the Tanjong Pagar station. In her hands, she hold a surprise for her date. A specially customised bottle of perfume all the way from France.

There she was waiting for her date to come by the driveway.
Excitedly and confidently.

Soon after, one handsome man drove towards her.
He wound the window and said," Hi dear, I got to rush for a urgent meeting.
I cannot have dinner with you. I will call you later."

Her heart sank. But she still holds dearly to the hope that this man will be delighted by her present. So, she passed the present to him. Coincidentally, his man got her a gift too. A gentle smile wiped across her face.

A loud honk broke this beautifult moment. Then came along with the shattering sound of the bottle of perfume, the gift for her love. Her heart plunged down along with the perfume.

"I have to go. Call you later. Don't worry about the present", He said.
He left her picking up the broken pieces on the pavement.
The lingering perfume now has a stint of sadness.
She holds her tears, seaching for the nearest restroom to clean the stain on her dress.

As she made her heavy steps, the paper bag that holds her present from his man gave way. Coincidentally, it was a bottle of perfume too. It too broke.

At this very moment, she cannot hold on anymore.
The strength and beauty in her eyes faded.
Do the 2 bottles of perfumes speak for themselves?
He and her are not meant to be together?

Inspired by a tragic incident.
Her perfume = Olive oil. His perfume = SKII product.

Like most other working stiffs,
I'm looking forward to my annual two weeks' vacation.

Martin Milner

Vacation is addictive.
Just shortly after one, you long for another vacation.

Vacation is exciting.
It starts to inject more adrenaline into your body
as you count down the days to your vacation.

Vacation is uplifting.
It gives you the sanity to see you through the mudane work
till the next vacation.

Vacation is calming.
It encourage yourself to hang on to the many problems in your life
for the sought after vacation.

Vacation is irrational.
When you are on vacation, you are not rational; You are emotional.
You gasps at the simplest things in life that you usually don't.

Vacation... Vacation...Vacation... I Love You.
