Character Determines Future

This phrase is often said by my boss. I used to wonder how true it is. I thought having the necessary qualifications and networking is the way in today's working life. But I begin to undersand why character determines your future, Yes, you may have the qualifications, capital and even networking. But that only make your way to success easier. Whether you can succeed will then depends very much on your future.

Instance 1:
Some people are just not capable to lead and yet want to hold on to the mere authority to bully the weak. But no one respects him. Having you slog for him and give your false hopes that you will be paid for your effort. What a jerk... ...

Instance 2:
Some people just disappear almost instanteously when trouble occurs. And no matter how hard you try to contact them, you will never find them. Just how irresponsible these people are. They harm not just themselves but also the innocent who have to face the music upon their appearance. Oh man, Life is really unfair.

In the year 2007, my resolution will be....

To be a better man, who knows how to spend her time wisely and more efficiently.
In short, less work, more time to do more meaningful activities.

Er, Is watching tv a meaningful thing? In my opinion, it is. Relaxation + Informative. Haha.... Happy New Year to everyone.
