A Brand New Start

Hi all...I know I have been MIA. Apologies. The brand new start has caused my old body to react somehow differently. I sleep rather early now, not more than 11pm and wake up at 645am. Sometimes I am so tired that I will give blogging a miss. Especially when I do not have internet connection in the company until yesterday.

So let me do a short feeling about my current status. The colleagues here are quite friendly and they try to have lunch together most of the time. It is a consolation for me since I was pretty worried I would lose all my lunch partners over-night.

I am once again a student in her industrial attachment. Learning new things, new concepts. Sometimes a little breathless, but overall enriching. Hmmm....I also realise I am not as good as I thought. There are a lot more things I can learn and practise. So more learning to go.

JOY :-)

Fireworks

Fireworks. Seconds of beauty and colours that captivate many eyes and hearts. That very instant, emotions flood to your heart and hope brightens your mind. It is amazing what fireworks therapy do to all walks of life.

Well, all things will come to an end. And beautiful things end even faster. As the fireworks blooms to its final death with a big bang, many clapped and cheered. But minutes later, I felt a sudden surge of emptiness and sadness.

Relationships are like fireworks. From hot passions to milder affections and eventually to silent love. It is in man that they will tend to not appreciate others' effort as times ticks its way away. Caution: This coldness is deafening, and should be avoided. It is not difficult to offer a simple hug or "Thank you".

Unhappiness within the Happy Moment

What a contradicting title, isn't it? Well, life itself is sometimes an irony. I have made the decision that many will be happy for me. Applause, popping of the champagne, giving you the pat on the back... The picture is such a fairytale. But I am not exactly happy. Why?

Reason 1: Paranoid as I am, I've been thinking if I made the right decision already.
Reason 2: For what I have done, do I get the minimum back? Constantly praying for the money that I fear will not come. Maybe I am a little money-minded over here. Maybe it is the scale in me. I just want what's mine.
Reason 3: It seems like the evil has triumph in my story. My friends have tried to put away this negative thought. But even the slight possibility crushes my happpiness.

If there is really such a thing as mind power,
Joy...Stay positive...It will be a peaceful ending...

End of my first WCCF term

I have just completed my 90 matches term as a manager of my first soccer team. I suppose I did ok-ly for a beginner and a female. My grading has increased from a E- to a B-. My last 10 matches were rather cool. I won a cup and remain first in the league. Rather pleased with my results but like Zidane's last match, I ended my manager career with some regret. I lost my last game.

Somehow, I see a little coincidence in my own career as well. All went well at first, in fact pretty good before I made the decision. Feel a little anguish that it has ended with some blemish too. Now, I just hope that I can get back what I was promised and deserved. At least, the story has a happy ending...

Q: Why do some people fail to acknowledge your mails?
My Ans: They are illiterate, so they read only what they want to see.

Silent Retreat

It was a day full of guesses and imagination of the outcome of my decision. Finally, the curtain has drawn and the play has ended. The characters have made their silent exit. It maybe an abrupt ending for me, but I should have expected it.

No drama. Nice flow without any hiccups or dragy scenes. Some words of appreciation and probably the last instructions. Short and sweet. Probably because there isn't any positive feelings between the characters.

In contrast, it was a different form of acting in the last play though the eventual outcome is identical. There were more details, more drama and certainly catch the emotions of the audience more.

Audiences have left their seats for home. Characters are preparing for their next plays. The facet of life. Real but maybe a little uncomfortable. May time wash away this chapter a little faster...
