Attitude matters

I saw this phrase while waiting for train. Just to share with you. Not intention of infringing others' copyright. "Ability is what you are capable of doing; Motivation determines what you do; Attitude determines how well you do."

Courteous? Gracious?

As usual, I took the train today. Afterall，the most efficient transport is still the train. Despite the recent discussions about how efficient the train system is. I was discussing this issue days ago and a Scotland PR commented:" You guys never been to London? Train delays are commons, even strikes. Nobody ask why you are late because they know the obvious reason. And the public transport here is so affordable." Actually, to some senses, it is true. I am not in anyway protective of any organisations. They indeed need to buck up their maintenance else our competitive edge may be affected. Imagine everybody late for work, how competitive can you get? Talking about trains, I had a recent encounter. The area near the train door is always packed but the area in the center is indeed so comfortable. You don't feel like you are sardines. So I tried to move inwards. Obviously, the area in the middle can house more than 2 rows of loosely standing passengers. And then I was welcome with a f*** word from a lady who seems educated and an executive. If you don't move in and want others to not move in, how can others board the train? So selfish. Yes that is because you board the trains from the earlier station. Ms(with brown bag and so busy with your smartphone.), if you cannot tolerate, take a taxi to work. And please do not work in Japan. Not fit do. Will post a picture later Me in blue. I'm 30!

That day Mr. Lover was commenting "You are turning 30. Why the call to change IC has not come?"
Soon enough, the letter came and I knew I am turning 30!

The age '30' has been sensitive for ladies. Cos you are no longer in your 20s and the so-called prime is over. For me, it's more like "30years already and what have I achieved? And what else I can achieve?" and "30 years later what I'll become?"

Anyway, it was good food since Fri. Lunch was at yum cha cos my boss din wear the company t-shirt and indirectly celebrating my bday. The celebration with the in laws was on fri evening at the same venue as last year. My parents celebrated for me on wed cos thurs I have classes.

And on my bday, I had abalone for lunch and tea at TWG!!

Then IMAX 3D Experience. The tickets was expensive but the sound system is really impressive. Followed by a fulfilling dinner at TONKICHI. My first time there but the food was really to my liking.

In all, it was lotsa of makan session to being 30 years old.

May all my wishes come true. :)

The long awaited meet-up with Gin

Pictures speak louder than words. This time round, we din have drinks which I missed doing so. But tea was good, and not forgetting the H&M experience.

The meet up is always good. Already looking forward to the next one.

My little one is turning 2 in a few months' time. She has been doing well except her speech.
I am the only lucky one being called. Other than that, it still remains baby language.

May she learns fast, grows well and speaks more words. And no more falls that scare me to death with the bleeding. Is that too much a wish? Certainly hopes not.

Self Confidence vs Self Conceit

There is just a line between self confidence and self conceit.

Yes, you may have the knowledge. But respect others who may not have.
No questions to be allowed if you have no knowledge about it. Then how did you first learn when you know nothing?

Yes, you may be great. But there will always be people who are greater than you.
And sure there are more that deserve respect from me.

Self confidence you may have. Self conceit is a sure trait.
