Resignation Fever
I suppose many of us are have been in acquaintance with the word resignation. Some for a better career. Some cos the boss and working environment. And many other reasons...
Whatever it is, it seems like resignation is the way to a brighter future out there. But it brings alongs a kind of ripple effect too. " Resignation Fever", a term which i do not know if it scientifically termed, :P , is brought about to the surrounding people when oneself resign.
It starts to get you thinking if this office/job is suitable for you and maybe you start embarking on a better career, i.e. join in the resignation. The more charismatic the person who resigned, the higher this resignation fever goes. And if more starts to resigns within the surrounding, the more dangerous is the resignation fever.
Why such a feeling? I have a colleague who will be leaving for a better career. No doubt it. And his confirmed departure has caused many of us to have the idea of possible search for a greener pasture too. So for employers out there, take care of your employees. Understand what they need before the fever starts to kick in and a possible distratous plague may just land your company in a very difficult moment.
For the colleague whom I like and work well with in my short period of exployment,Thank you for all the guidance you have shown.
All the best in the new land.
Last but not least, do keep in touch.
