Peace

I went with a friend to the National Library over the weekend to see an exhibition "Building a culture of peace" by the SOKA Gakkai association. It wasn't exactly big or eye-catching. But the exhibits really sink into your heart.

Peace is what many World pagent's contestants asked for, just like Sandra Bullock in the movie, Ms Congenality. Actuallly, peace is something attainable if everyone practises the following. But I suppose it only exists in the ideal world.

"Do not do to others what you do not want them to do to you"
Confucius - Analects

"When you light the path before another person, you brighten your own."
Buddhist-Nichiver

Do you pray for peace???

"Nothing can bing you peace but yourself"
Ralph Waldo Emerson

"It isn't enough to talk about peace. Once must believe in it. And it isn't enough to believe in it. One must work at it.
Eleana Roosevelt
